CONGRATULATIONS 2007-08!
Summer Absence Policy [Just click on this link to read the Summer Absence Policy document] It is the Charger Girl/Parent/Representative's responsibility to have knowledge of the contents of the postings on the Agoura High School Spirit Team's website. If the Internet is not available, then daily phone contact with the Charger Girl's Captain is advised. Transportation policy: NO Team member may be driven by another team member (student) to ANY event that is team related! Please check the transportation policy (in handbook) for the proper procedure All Charger Girls who attend away Varsity Football games, will be transported by school bus, unless there is an administrative note obtained according to school policy. There are NO Exceptions! Policy regarding game attendance: If you cannot attend your Support Game as scheduled.....please contact Mrs. Koch.... with the reason you cannot attend the specific game as assigned. Mrs. Koch will forward your parent e-mail or note (with your alternate assignment chosen from the schedule above) to the Assistant Principal, Mr. Naranjo. You will be notified by Mrs. Koch, if you received an excused absence from Mr. Naranjo. You will then make up the Support Game that you have chosen. All Home Games - Charger Girls need to arrive on time and be dressed correctly. If you are not correctly dressed, you will may be sent home and issued an unexcused absence. Always please bring all of your uniform pieces with you on the day of a game, if you are not wearing them to school. For all home games and competitions: Each team is to stay until all of the props are put away after the game. Mrs. McGrew / Mrs. Koch will dismiss you when this is done. Please make arrangements to be picked up promptly by your parents after your dismissal, IN FRONT OF THE GYM. Policy regarding emergency or absence: You may e-mail Mrs. Koch directly from the link on this website or at: VEKoch@aol.com . She will respond within 48 hours. If there is an emergency or to report an illness, PLEASE call Ms Koch at: 818-292-3960. The team's safety and well being is of utmost importance! If a Charger Girl is going to be absent from class/practice/game/event/or competition, it will impact the other team members. Most importantly, we need to know that our Charger Girl is OK and and that their Parent/Representative is aware that our Charger Girl is not with their team. *The Spirit Team Treasurer for the 2008-09 season is Karen Johnston. Please contact her with any questions that you might have at: kgjohn@pacbell.net Dates and times for practices/games/events/or competitions may change do to school scheduling, facility use availability, etc. Changes or additions will be posted on website, as soon as the information becomes available. Important or student schedule changes will be e-mailed directly to Parents/Representatives/Charger Girls and information will be handed out and/or verbally announced in class or during practice as well. Individual Team Information may also be posted on the Team Links such as Varsity Cheer & Song, JV Cheer & Song, Frosh-Soph Cheer and Varsity Blue Team. Have a Concern? Here is the process.....click on the following Concern Form link. This form may also be found in the Team Handbook. Fill out the form explaining your concern and your proposed suggestion for solving this concern. The form can either be emailed, faxed (818) 889-8488 or placed in Mrs Koch's mailbox at AHS. You will receive a personal telephone call within 48 hours upon it's receipt. Please do NOT call the Athletic Director or an Administrator. The 'Chain of Command' begins with the Coach and/or Advisor. If the concern cannot be resolved with the Coach and/or Advisor, then the Athletic Director will be included in the discussion. If the concern is not resolved amongst this group, then the Assistant Principal in charge of Athletics will be included in the discussion. A decision regarding this concern is made at the meeting that includes the Assistant Principal. The decision is typically the final step in this process.
